1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and Planora (“we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your use of the Planora service (“Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Planora is a web-based staff forecasting and resource planning tool for agencies, studios, and consulting teams. The Service lets you:
- Build a visual grid showing team allocation across projects and months
- Create and compare multiple planning scenarios
- Set per-person capacity and track utilisation
- Manage projects, team members, and assignments
- Export forecast data to CSV
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Your Account
Registration
Access requires signing in with a Google account via Google OAuth. By doing so, you also agree to Google’s Terms of Service. We receive only your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Account Security
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at [email protected] immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use.
Workspaces
When you create a workspace, you become the owner and are responsible for ensuring all members comply with these Terms.
4. Subscription and Billing
Plans
- Starter (Free): Up to 5 team members and 10 projects, 3-month forecast horizon, basic filtering.
- Pro ($29/month or $23/month billed annually): Unlimited members and projects, unlimited months, scenario planning, variant management, CSV export, 100-step undo history.
- Enterprise ($99/month or $79/month billed annually): Everything in Pro, plus SSO/SAML, custom integrations, dedicated onboarding, SLA guarantee, and volume pricing.
Free Trial
Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start. At trial end, the workspace reverts to Starter unless a paid plan is activated.
Billing and Payments
Subscriptions are billed in advance. Monthly plans renew on the same date each month; annual plans renew yearly. We do not store your payment card details.
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
Price Changes
We may change prices with at least 30 days advance notice. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any workspace, account, or system
- Upload or transmit malicious software or harmful code
- Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without written consent
- Use automated scripts that could damage or overload the Service
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our prior written approval
6. Your Data
Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Planora. We do not claim any ownership rights over your data.
Licence to Operate
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host and process your data solely to provide and operate the Service. This licence ends when you delete your data or close your account.
Data Export
You can export your workspace forecast data in CSV format at any time. We recommend exporting before closing your account.
Privacy
Our use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Intellectual Property
Planora and its underlying platform, including all software, designs, interfaces, and logos, are owned by Planora and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our IP to you.
By submitting feedback or feature requests, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback without restriction.
8. Service Availability
- Starter and Pro plans are provided on a best-effort basis without a formal SLA
- Enterprise plans include an uptime SLA as set out in the Enterprise order form
- We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance
- We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure or events outside our control
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Staffing forecasts and resource planning decisions made using Planora are your sole responsibility. We are not liable for business decisions made based on data in the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLANORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
11. Termination
By You
You may close your account at any time. This will cancel any active subscription at the end of the current billing period.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Where practical, we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach.
Effect of Termination
Your right to use the Service ceases immediately on termination. We retain your data for up to 30 days after termination so you can export it; after that it is permanently deleted.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, by courts of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Planora regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
